Retroelectric Limited is a new dynamic company with a passion to convert classic cars to all electric drive. This presents some unique challenges, mechanical, electrical and aesthetically. We strive to produce a great looking, well-engineered electric car conversion that will provide years of reliable motoring.

The company is growing and looking to add to the conversion team based near Borough Green in Kent.

 

EV conversion motor technician
We are looking for someone with keen interest in preserving these great cars. They should ideally have either a mechanical or electric background (automotive/industrial) and demonstrate the aptitude to develop a deep knowledge of the rapidly changing field of EV technology.

These positions can be full time or part time we pride ourselves in being a flexible employer and providing a great place to work. Training provided.

 

Duties to include:

  • Fabricating components

  • Welding

  • Wiring EV components (batteries, management systems, chargers etc)

  • Problem solving

 

Skills to include:

  • Communication

  • Attention to detail

  • Willingness to learn new skills

 

Salary commensurate with experience

EV conversion motor engineer

We are looking for someone to help design unique solutions with the ability to foster new relationships with suppliers and other trades. The ideal candidate will be able to problem solve to a high degree, effectively draw up solutions and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. They would ideally have an understanding of vehicles and engineering (electrical, industrial or automotive). The ability to work closely with the team and communicate effectively is a necessary trait in this role. Training will be provided but the candidate must show the aptitude to develop a deep knowledge in the rapidly changing field of EV technology.

  • Help to develop unique solutions for converting classic cars to EV

  • Drawing up designs for our conversion team

  • Procuring components effectively to provide best value to company

  • Working on multiple projects at once

 

Skills to include:

  • Communication

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Ability to draw up designs (not necessary in CAD)

  • Attention to detail

  • Willingness to learn new skills

 

Salary commensurate with experience.
